Still bummed

Today’s blog is not going to be anymore uplifting than yesterday’s blog. It absolutely sucks. You know, I am just kind of shell shocked right now. 48 hours ago, I had a job. A job that I thought was stable. Now I don’t. I think I need to grieve over it. I can’t take a lot of time though because I have to get right back out there and start looking again. I figure that I will start working on my resume again on Friday. Give myself a few hours to polish it and make a few changes. I am still waiting on a letter of recommendation from my former boss. I hope he gives it to me. I did get a small severence package but it’s really nothing. I also feel like I was rejected. There were other people that were way less qualified and they are still there. It sucks to be hired out. But onward and upward. I will get back in the saddle again.

Unemployed

I am starting my blog on a downer note. I lost my job today. They came in this morning and they let me go effective immediately. I cleaned out my desk and drove around for a while. Shit. I worked at this company for 5 years and they dump me off like a piece of trash. It sucks. I am mad. I got to get resume’s out. I can’t believe it. No job, no money, no insurance, nothing.
